FAQ
What if I have a huge pimple the day of my shoot?!
A. Fear not! Blemishes are usually pretty easy to remove! Let me know beforehand if you have any blemishes, birthmarks, or scars that you may want to have removed and we can talk about it!
Can I customize a package to fit my needs?
A. Yes! If you're looking for a non-traditional session that doesn't quite fit into one of my packages, send me a message and we can talk details!
Will there be a second shooter?
A. Only if you want one!
Do you shoot destination weddings?
A. I have not yet, but shoot me a message and I'd love to chat more about what exactly you're looking for!
Do you charge a travel fee?
A. I don't start charging travel fees until travel time exceeds 1.5 hours! Travel costs include gas/drive time, stay/hotel, and rental car (if destination).
2-3 Hour Travel: $175
3-4 Hour Travel: $250
4+ Hour Travel: Custom Pricing based on stay.
Do I have to order prints through you?
A. Nope! Once you download your gallery to your personal devices, you can order prints wherever and however you wish!
Do you require a deposit?
A. I require a 25% non-refundable deposit upon booking/contract signing for all weddings.
What kind of photography do you do?
A. I pretty much will do it all! Weddings, Newborn, Maternity, Seniors, Grads, Labor + Delivery, Family, Baptisms, Engagement/Couples, Proposals... If you're not sure, don't hesitate to send me a message and ask!
Can I bring my dog?
A. YUP. I will very rarely say no to dogs- just let me know first! ◡̈
How long do you store files for?
A. I try to keep files indefinitely. I back them up in two different places, however, this does not guarantee that I still have your photos any amount of time down the line. I recommend always downloading and backing up your gallery on the off chance that I no longer have them!!
Do you give out RAW files?
A. I do not. I don't give out RAW files for many reasons! A few being- these are not an accurate representation of my work, it's an unfinished product, and sometimes RAW files can be SCARY! Trust the process! You hire me based off of what you see, right?! If I were to deliver you RAW files, this doesn't accurately portray that!
Think of it this way... Would you go out to eat at a restaurant and ask a chef to bring your chicken out RAW so that you can cook it yourself?
Can I have the images without the watermark?
A. YES! I put the watermark on my photos mainly to encourage and gently force clients to download their galleries. God forbid something happen to the files on my end (post delivery), at least the chances of you having them are greater! So download those galleries! ;) I know that a client has screenshot the images instead of downloading when I see the watermark on a post they've shared, so this tells me I should/could remind them to download!
