Hi!
My name is Selina and I am a Metro Detroit Photographer! I started my photography journey in spring of 2021. I was generously handed down a camera and a few lenses from a cousin who had already been in the business for some time. I didn't know many photographers or much about the business, but I had two cousins who really inspired the niche in me!
I have loved taking pictures since I was very young. I had so many digital cameras growing up and I took them everywhere with me! I remember being a kid and stealing everyone's flip phones to run around and take pictures of whatever was in front of me! Coincidentally enough, I had a friend who started her own photography business at the same time as me with her husband- she since has become one of my closest friends! I never thought work could be this fun. I love connecting with people and other photographers. I rarely think of it as work because I have so much fun meeting new people and exploring the new places this job takes me and the experiences it has to offer!
